While NPS accepts some major insurance plans, keep in mind that you are responsible for your charges. Most insurance plans do not cover 100% of the charges. Copayments are due on the date of service (DOS). You have 60 days to pay the balance in full.

Forms of Payment
1. CASH ACCOUNTS: Cash clients must pay for each session as it occurs to receive a discounted rate. Insurance will not be billed. If you will be self-paying, please complete the discount fee application by clicking below.
2. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit card payments through the use of Paypal. Payments can be made via phone, in-person, or internet.
3. INSURANCE ACCOUNTS: We currently accept some insurance carriers. Upon appointment booking, we will verify eligibility. Please note that there is no guarantee of coverage or payment. It is your responsibility to inform us of ALL insurance policies in effect and any changes to insurance coverage before you receive services. You must also comply with the Coordination of Benefits and similar requests from your insurance company in a timely fashion. Regardless of insurance coverage, you always remain responsible for your bill.
It is the policy of Nelson Psychological Services to provide essential services regardless of the client’s ability to pay. Discounts are offered based on family size and annual income. If you do not have insurance and/or need to self-pay, please complete our discount application.
